Tuncel Kurtiz (1936-2013) was a Turkish actor, director, and poet. He was born in Izmir, Turkey and studied theater at the Ankara State Conservatory. Kurtiz began his acting career on stage, appearing in numerous plays before transitioning to television and film.
Kurtiz is best known for his roles in Turkish cinema, where he starred in over 70 films throughout his career. Some of his most famous movies include "Elegy" (2001), "Somersault in a Coffin" (1997), and "The Bandit" (1996). He was also well-known for his work in television, with roles in popular series such as "The Time of The Wolf" and "The Legendary Police Woman."
